Blessed James Alberione and his Thoughts

“O Mary, may the apostolate of example & word,

of prayer & the press,

of films, radio & TV,

of the internet,

may win over the hearts of many generous persons…!”

(Blessed James Alberione, ssp)

"Faith is revived through MARY,

the hope of heaven is reinforced,

charity is spread!"

(Blessed James Alberione, ssp)

Blessed James Alberione and his Thoughts

“Devotion to Mary is a most effective means

for acquiring a delicate conscience,

sensitivity to its voice,

remorse for sin

and the joy for having done well.

Of course, a devotion that is enlightened,

tender, practical and prayerful!”

(Blessed James Alberione, ssp)

"Our life must be:

 a continuous renewal,

a continuous conversion,

a continuous resurrection!"

(Blessed James Alberione, ssp)

"Happy Easter to all!"

Blessed James Alberione and his Thoughts

"The teaching activity of JESUS during His PASSION

is one of the schools that are open to the whole world.

It is a school of love,

of pain and of resurrection!"

(Blessed James Alberione, ssp)

Venerable Sister Thecla Merlo and her Thoughts

"If we meditate on the Passion of our Lord

we will have the grace and strength to take up our cross daily.

You see that each day there is a cross to carry;

some days it is big, some days, smaller.

But we ourselves are the biggest cross,

with all our defects, with our evil inclinations.

We must go against ourselves and carry our cross.

May we have the grace to carry it well!"

- Venerable Sr. Thecla Merlo, fsp

Venerable Sister Thecla Merlo and her Thoughts

"Always have more faith,

even if we are in the dark.

Don't claim to see,

to hear... Believe!

Lord, increase my faith!

(Venerable Sister Thecla Merlo, fsp)

Venerable Sister Thecla Merlo and her Thoughts

"Why are there sadness and long faces at times?

If we abandon ourselves to God,

we would be more joyful,

knowing that we are in the hands of a good Father,

who loves us and disposes everything

for our own good."

“Let us be immovable in our resolves,

because Jesus has risen to a new life,

a more beautiful life,

a more holy life!”

“When you are happy,

it is easier for you to make yourself a saint.

Let not the heart of him who looks for God

and loves Him ever be perturbed!”
